The whole decision, in one table
Ice Fishing is a money-wheel game show. A certified random number generator picks one of 53 segments and a host in an Arctic studio presents the result. There are no reels and no paylines, which is the first thing to unlearn if your casino filed it next to the slots.

The round
What happens between betting and payout
Betting opens for 10 to 15 seconds
Chips go on Leaf 1, Leaf 2, any of the three fish, or the All Bonuses shortcut that covers all three at once.
Multipliers are dealt after betting closes
Leaf segments can pick up 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x or 10x. Fish segments can pick up 2x to 10x, which multiplies every fish inside that bonus rather than your stake. You cannot see the boosts and then decide — betting is already shut.
The wheel resolves
A leaf result settles instantly. A fish result opens the matching bonus for anyone holding that route.
The host fishes
Catches are pulled up one at a time, each carrying a multiplier, with a crane or a helicopter for the heavy ones.
Payout, with the rule most people misread
1:1 returns your stake plus the same again. Any multiplier win pays the multiplier instead of returning your stake, so a 3x boosted leaf is a 2:1 net win. Full rules here.

Which Ice Fishing bet is the best one?
Leaf 1 and Leaf 2 return 97.10%, the highest published figure in the game, and each covers 43% of the wheel. Every bonus route returns less. “Best” only stops meaning Leaf if what you want is a large multiplier rather than a long session.
How much does an hour of Ice Fishing cost?
Take your stake per round, multiply by 90 rounds, and multiply that by the house edge on your spread — 2.90% on Leaf, up to 4.83% on Huge Reds. A $1 Leaf bet works out around $2.60 an hour on average. The bankroll tool does it for you.
Is there a free Ice Fishing demo?
