Ice Fishing rules and round flow
Everything that happens between the betting window opening and your balance changing, including the payout rule that catches out almost every new player.
Sequence
One round, start to finish
Betting window
Roughly 10 to 15 seconds. You can back several routes at once, and most players do.
Multiplier drop
The RNG boosts random segments after betting closes. Boosted segments are visible before the spin, but you can no longer act on them — which is the point.
The spin
One of 53 segments wins. Leaf results settle immediately at 1:1, or at the boosted multiple if that segment was enhanced.
Bonus round
A fish result moves the action to the ice hole for players holding that route. Catches reveal one at a time.
Settlement
Stake times result. On multiplier wins the stake is not returned on top.

Published figures for the standard euro ruleset. Bonus bets large enough to reach the 500,000 single-round cap are listed at a reduced 94.55%.
Leaf 1 and Leaf 2 are mathematically identical and never both win. Backing both spreads the same 86.8% of the wheel across two chips rather than doubling anything useful.
Bonus routes are one-way tickets. You enter a bonus only if you held that exact route — watching a Huge Reds land while your chip sits on Lil’ Blues is the standard Ice Fishing experience, and it is worth expecting rather than resenting.
Multipliers
Two systems, routinely confused
Leaf boosts
Before the spin one or more leaf segments can be assigned 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x or 10x. Land on your boosted leaf and you are paid that multiple with the stake kept, so a 10x boost is a 9:1 net win rather than 10:1.
Wheel multipliers on fish
Fish segments can be assigned 2x to 10x. This does not multiply your stake — it multiplies every fish value inside the bonus round. A 10x on Huge Reds turns the smallest 10x catch into 100x and the largest 500x catch into 5,000x, which is the only path to the advertised ceiling.
Both systems are applied after betting closes. Any strategy that involves waiting for a boost and then betting is describing something the interface does not allow.

Practical
Connection, mobile and pace
The game streams in HTML5 with no download. Around 5 Mbps keeps the video clean; below roughly 2 Mbps the stream drops resolution to protect round timing, which is the right trade — the outcome comes from the RNG, not the picture.
On a phone the betting panel collapses to a single row of chips. It works, but a 10-second window is tight on a small screen. Decide your spread before the round opens rather than during it.
